Our Services
Your first visit is a conversation, not a rushed appointment.
We take time to get to know you and what you're facing now, including:
- Your service background and deployment history
- Mental health and medical history
- Current symptoms and sources of stress
- Past and current medications
- Your goals and what "better" looks like for you
Together, we'll design a personalized care plan that may include therapy, medication, or both. You'll leave with:
- A clear diagnosis and treatment plan
- Next appointment scheduled
- Prescription sent to your pharmacy (if needed)
- Direct contact information for follow-up questions
Initial evaluations follow VA/DoD evidence-based guidelines for PTSD, depression, anxiety, and other conditions common among service members.
If medication could help, we'll discuss your options, covering benefits, risks, and alternatives. We coordinate any necessary labs and follow-up care.
Conditions we treat with medication:
- PTSD and Acute Stress Disorder
- Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)
- Anxiety Disorders
- Sleep Disorders
- Substance Use Disorders
Our approach follows trusted, research-based guidelines from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and Department of Defense, helping ensure you receive safe, effective care that supports your well-being.

TMS is a non-invasive, FDA-approved treatment for treatment-resistant depression. Using magnetic pulses to stimulate specific brain regions, TMS has helped veterans who've tried multiple medications without relief.
What TMS offers:
- No medications, no anesthesia, no surgery
- Outpatient sessions
- High success rates for treatment-resistant depression
- Covered by TRICARE and most insurance plans
Spravato is an FDA-approved nasal spray used alongside an oral antidepressant for veterans with treatment-resistant depression or major depression with acute suicidal ideation.
What makes Spravato different:
- Works within hours to days
- Targets different brain pathways than conventional medications
- Administered in-office with medical supervision
- Proven effective when other treatments haven't worked
Many veterans experience ADHD symptoms that went undiagnosed during service or symptoms that worsened after deployment due to TBI, PTSD, or other factors.
Our in-depth ADHD evaluation includes:
- Clinical interview and symptom assessment
- Objective computerized testing (CPT)
- Review of service history and any TBI/concussion incidents
- Differential diagnosis (ADHD vs. PTSD, sleep disorders, or other conditions)
Can't make it to the clinic? Meet with your provider through our HIPAA-compliant video platform.
Telehealth offers:
- Same high-quality care as in-person visits
- Less travel, less stress, less time away from family
- Flexible scheduling for therapy and medication management
Care doesn't end after your first visit.
During follow-ups, we track:
- Symptom changes
- Medication side effects and tolerability
- Sleep, pain, and energy levels
- Daily functioning at home, work, or in the community
Visit frequency adjusts to your needs. More frequent early in treatment (every 2-4 weeks), less often as you stabilize (every 2-3 months).

The nightmares. The triggers. The constant feeling of being on edge. PTSD doesn't just go away on its own, but it can get better with the right treatment.
We provide trauma-informed care using 2023 VA/DoD-recommended therapies:
- Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) – Restructure thoughts connected to trauma
- Prolonged Exposure (PE) – Safely confront trauma memories to reduce their power
- EMDR – Process trauma through guided eye movements
When therapy alone isn't enough, we discuss evidence-based medication options to support your recovery.
What this looks like:
- Compassionate, structured therapy (in-person or secure video)
- Practical skills to manage triggers, nightmares, and avoidance
- Guided trauma processing in a safe, controlled environment
- Ongoing progress tracking to adjust care based on what's working
Depression after service isn't a weakness. It's a medical condition, and it responds to treatment.
Our approach integrates:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – Overcome negative thought patterns
- Behavioral activation – Rebuild momentum
- Interpersonal therapy – Relationship challenges
- Evidence-guided medication when appropriate
We use shared decision-making and stepwise adjustments following VA/DoD guidelines, helping you move from managing symptoms to achieving remission.
Life during and after service can disrupt sleep, heighten anxiety, and strain relationships. These often labelled “character flaws” are normal responses to abnormal circumstances.
We provide personalized therapy for:
- Chronic anxiety and hyper-arousal
- Insomnia and nightmares
- Adjustment challenges during major transitions
Your treatment plan moves at your pace, tailored to what feels safe and manageable for you.
Weight changes after service are common and can be influenced by pain, sleep disruptions, medications, trauma, and stress.
Our whole-person approach may include:
- Behavioral and lifestyle coaching
- Nutrition guidance
- Coordination with your primary care team
- FDA-approved weight-management medications (like semaglutide) when appropriate, with close safety monitoring
We can also help connect you with the VA’s MOVE! program (move.va.gov) for ongoing support and sustainable lifestyle change.
Medication decisions are always personalized and safety-driven, based on your health history, goals, and any potential risks or contraindications.
For patients exploring additional wellness strategies, we offer NAD⁺ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) infusions that may support cellular energy and overall well-being.
Important to know:
- NAD⁺ infusions are not FDA-approved to treat PTSD, depression, or anxiety
- Clinical evidence remains limited
- This is a complementary option, not a replacement for proven treatments
If you're interested, we'll walk you through:
- A clear informed consent process
- What is known and what remains uncertain
- Possible side effects and safety considerations
Make sure this option complements, not replaces, proven treatments that support your mental health
Our priority is anchoring your care in evidence-based treatments while offering transparent information about emerging wellness options.

My TMS treatments have been exceptionally positive experiences resulting in significant improvement in my depression symptoms. After many years of medication management for depression, despite changes in meds., combination of meds and dosing changes , my depression persisted. TMS has worked extremely well for me. Medication management is part of treatment plan. Melissa, is a former ER nurse with advanced degree, NP. She has been attentive to my input in titrating my medication effectively and corresponding with TMS treatments. I am grateful to have my life back! Ashely is efficient and kind throughout my treatment visits. Finally “V”, she is the coordinator and directly involved as needed in assisting staff and patients with kindness and compassion. Dr. Dinar Sajan, she is the Psychiatrist, I am grateful for her establishing and overseeing these services in our community.

I see Melissa Miles for treatment and she is amazing! She is always giving me excellent advice and successfully treating my depression. I drive nearly an hour to see her and it’s worth it. I can’t recommend her more highly. And Keegan is a fantastic assistant. She practically runs the place and when we had deep issues getting my treatment covered she and Melissa went above and beyond to make sure I got the help I needed! I don’t know much about the other providers, but the girls in the office are fantastic and Melissa and Keegan truly have helped me heal.
